I’ve never been to the Pick-Up Party – what’s it all about?

Our annual Pick Up Party is the most sought-after Wine Club event on our calendar, giving you the exclusive opportunity to visit us in our Hunter Valley home and meet some of the faces behind the emails & phone calls! Our passionate and knowledgeable team host a curated tasting featuring delicious new release and back vintage wines, followed by a sumptuous sit-down lunch cooked from our wine barrel steamers. After being wined and dined, you then “Pick Up” your September Wine Club pack along with any new favourites you may have discovered on the day. The Pick Up Party ticket is at no cost for a Wine Club member and their guest.

Where is the Pick Up party?

The Pick Up party will be held at our Cellar Door located at 179 Gillards Rd, Pokolbin, NSW, 2320

What are the session times for the Pick Up party?

The Pick Up party will be hosted over two days – Saturday 10th August and Sunday 11th August, with multiple session times each day. Please ensure you are booking the correct day and session time when reserving your tickets, as this event is extremely popular and we may be unable to move your booking once it is made. Your booking date and session time will be listed on your ticket.

We will be hosting 5 sessions this year:

Saturday 10 August:

10am arrival and tasting 11am lunch

1pm arrival and tasting 2pm lunch

4pm arrival and tasting 5pm lunch

Sunday 11 August:

11am arrival and tasting 12pm lunch

2pm arrival and tasting 3pm lunch

Can I be seated with friends?

Please let us know ASAP if you have friends attending & we will do our absolute best to seat you together.

What is included with my ticket?

A ticket provides each member and their guest with a curated tasting of some delicious Scarborough wines, followed by a sumptuous lunch cooked from our wine barrel steamers.

What is the cost of my ticket?

The ticket is complimentary for Wine Club members, however, each attending member must purchase their September Wine Club Dozen as outlined below.

How many tickets can I have?

Each active Wine Club member is entitled to 1 x complimentary ticket, which is valid for the member and one guest. We are unable to offer tickets for purchase to non-wine club members.

Can I pre-book a ticket?

As tickets are strictly limited, we are unable to hold or process tickets before they are released on Thursday 4th July. This event will book out quickly, so we recommend making sure your login details are up to date prior to the ticket release to ensure a smooth checkout process.

Do I need to take my September Wine Club dozen on the day?

Attendees of the Pick Up Party must purchase their September Wine Club dozen. Your Wine Club order will be processed in the weeks leading up to the event, and will be packed ready to collect on the day.

Do you offer transfers to and from the event?

We do not offer transfers to and from the event, however you can see local transport and transfer providers here.

Can you recommend somewhere to stay in the Hunter Valley?

Can I bring children or pets to the Pick Up Party?

Unfortunately due to seating restrictions, we are unable to accommodate children or pets at this event.
